As part of the Pawikan Festival 2024 celebration, the Pawikan Festival Creative Dance Competition was held yesterday, December 4, 2024, at the Bataan People’s Center.

The Pawikan Festival is an annual celebration in the province of Bataan, specifically in the town of Morong, that aims to raise awareness and promote the conservation of marine turtles, locally known as “pawikan”. One of the highlights of this celebration is the Creative Dance Competition.

In the said competition, the municipalities of Dinalupihan, Bagac, and Abucay have secured the top 3 spots. Rankings will be announced during the Pawikan Festival 2024 on December 7, 2024 at the Pawikan Conservation Center in Morong.

Winners will receive ₱100,000 for first place, ₱80,000 for second place, ₱50,000 for third place, and ₱30,000 for non-winners as consolation prizes.
